Loot

Another television series has lodged itself deep in the knuckles of my brain. So thankful for this beautiful number by Maya Rudolph. As a person who doesn’t have money, watching billionaires live, their life seems somewhat of the norm while they flaunt their riches before our faces, they do fix most of the problems that society is facing with their billions of dollars. It’s not their fault that they are born with the senses to know how to make more money. if my math could add up the way, their math does and make billions of dollars while helping millions I would do the same. If I could get a donation of millions and billions of dollars and give back to the society I would. Hire Me as a society liaison, my nonprofit could use some work. I have a nonprofit organization called BRW LYNX corporation. I started it because I was a victim of domestic violence and now it’s not really taken off. Nobody wants to talk about being the victim of domestic violence. It’s embarrassing, and it say...

Roblox Addiction

As time Passes   Things that used to have immense value no longer value the same. I value meaningful get-togethers and relationships with the ones I love the most consent communication with strangers online post to the president making changes to the US Constitution helping public administration. I wonder if what I do is important , all I know is I have a voice. What I wouldn’t give to be able to have a voice sooner. God knows I might be a little bit luckier however I’m here. Thank you, God for all the people that you have brought into my life. Thank you for all of my life experiences good and bad, they have helped me grow characteristics that make me proud of who I am. I know there’s something wrong with me just haven’t pinpointed it yet, I drowned myself in accomplishments so that I can feel successful, My name on certificates and trophies would be a dream come true, but I lack the motivation to join, and be an active participant. While some people are paying $800 a month ...

Today

All we have is today, makes no sense to cry about the past makes no sense to cry about the future for it is uncertain, all we have is today. Today I met a guy named Jamaal who lost both his legs due to a conflict at a cookout that resulted in gunfire bullets are dangerous. Maybe there needs to be more regulation on the bullets and who can purchase bullets I don’t know how to put an end to gun violence, but I know that the results of it is been catastrophic to say the lease. I hope that today you will appreciate your legs and your use of them more than any other item on your body and your eyes. Not to forget our hands. If you have to wear glasses, I’m sorry, if you still have good eyes, be thankful, you never know when you might loose them. He even wore sneakers. On his double Amputee walking device, That was the most humbling part of my day. Appreciate Today.

Never Give Up

Never give up is overrated, I feel like becoming a quitter. This life has become too hard for me. Though I am live in the simplest version of it I am overwhelmed by my circumstances I think about my newly seven year old child, and all the things that he will want and require of me , for the rest of his life, I am lucky to have made a baby with a man who is responsible. he takes care of his son. I’m so proud that he is the dad, I sometimes wish that we could be back together, even through all the hardships and all the things that he’s done to me I forgive him. I am having trouble working through these emotions, the divorce came out of nowhere. I wasn’t expecting it when it came, but it happened and all I can do is move on and wish for the best, I desperately tried to bury my emotions for him, but I can’t seem to move on. Why can’t I move on?  I beat myself up daily. With these thoughts, they don’t seem to be going anywhere just ruminating. If rumination was a direction, I would assu...

Baptism

I got Baptized I woke up at 6:30 that morning far earlier than I had ever woken up while being in that house on a weekend. I was excited to announce that I was getting baptized I gave God a prayer, one of thankfulness and hope for fulfillment. I got my son dressed, my mom remarked that he is going to be too hungry for too many hours. She wouldn’t think that if we were going to her church but because this ceremony had to do with me, I get the feeling that the circumstances were different, but today was my day, and I wasn’t going to let anything ruin that for me. The next thing I knew I was driving down blue Hill Avenue headed towards Morning Star Baptist Church to start my wonderful day of Baptism. I was greeted by a lovely lady whose name I have now forgotten who walked me to the back so I could change into a uniform. it was the first time I was being changed into something that I was accepting of rather than being forced to put on a hospital Johnny. I was dressed in warrior gear...

Marijuana

My first experience with marijuana, I was at school and they were smoking outside the gate. The first time I ever saw it after that was when I was 19 on a girls trip to Jamaica, we spent three weeks in Jamaica sampling the best jerk chicken across the islands Typically just enjoy the island like a native. When I migrated to America, it was still illegal in Massachusetts. I didn’t even want to take the chance of getting caught trying to buy marijuana, so I just omitted it from my daily use altogether since the introduction of the marijuana license in 2018, it has been in my daily use for as long as it’s been legal in the state of Massachusetts.  I got my medical marijuana license to be an added protection, So long as I was able to go to a dispensary and purchase it. I no longer enjoy the habit coupled with the darkness of my lips that came with its usage. My threshold has become too high so now it feels no different than that of a cigarette. I’m allergic to tobacco so this makes for...
